SOUL-JAHS

Chorus (2 Timothy 2:3)
We’re Soul-jahs for Christ, gonna stay down ‘til the end of our life
Until it’s over, that’s right, staying ready to fight ‘til the day we die.
We’re Soul-jahs for Christ, gonna stay down ‘til the end of our life
Until it’s over, that’s right, gotta prepare for the war going on inside.

Verse 1
These are terrible times in the end of days (2 Timothy 3:1), with so many lost, they’ve gone astray; they say they can’t fall from grace, so they disobey and remain unchanged in their ways. “Once saved always saved!” has a really nice taste, but it’s not the case, so keep on in the faith! Don’t you want to say that you fought the good fight every day, that you finished the race? (2 Timothy 4:7)

Don’t be swayed by their mistakes; they’ll put you in a complacent state. No time to waste, it’s time to pray for strength to face just what’s at stake: eternal life. Isn’t it so nice if we comply we have that right? The Sacrifice means Paradise for those who repent of their crimes…

And trust in Christ Who paid the price, so we can cross over from death to life (John 5:24). You’ll be made white, with no blind eye-sight, no more rolling the dice on a prize so high: Eternity. Where are you gonna be? The reality is the Real One that goes unseen. So drop to your knees, say, “Father please, I need Your Water! Let it rain on me!”

Verse 2
I heard someone say, “We only have one life to live.” Some say, “We only live once.” In actuality, that’s inaccurate. So let me take time just to clear it up. We really only have one testing period in which we can prove ourselves (Acts 26:20) and elect to accept what’s freely given us only by God and no one else.

Right now we’re living an eternal existence, aware in forever consciousness. The question is will we live to continue it with the Lord in righteousness or in torment, burning down in the pit? Those who insist on disobedience; take for instance Judas Iscariot, he was saved by grace, but he fell from it.

That’s why our Lord said remain in Him and that His friends will obey until the very end (John 15:10-14). His command for every man is to understand we are the branches. He’s the Vine, He’s so Divine; His Father is the Gardener; He cuts off the branches that produce no fruit and prunes others to be even more fruitful (John 15:1-2).
